Pastor Jon Dorsey
Let me say a few words about my husband, Jon. Where to begin... You will not find a more giving, God-fearing man. Providence has been his dream since his addiction recovery in 1992. Jon is a retired fire captain in Riverside, California with 25 years on the job. He is a certified Crisis Intervention Counselor, A Department Substance Abuse Peer Support and has been an ordained pastor 2010.
Jon and I have raised our 5 children and are now enjoying the benefits of being grandparents, whom we spoil and send home.
Jon has become quite the cowboy. From a life time of surfing to being more then comfortable in the saddle. Give him his tractor and his horse and he is a blessed man.
His Friday Old Testament History class is a favorite and he preaches every Sunday at Providence Revival Church.
He is the love of my life and we give God all the glory for being blessed to serve our Lord together.
Stacy Dorsey, MA, PsyT, CHt
Stacy is the love of my life, my mentor, my partner, and my advocate. By the Grace of God, He has brought two broken people together as one. Leaving behind a lucrative private practice in counseling to follow God's purpose and plan for our lives.
Stacy's love for animals and her effective style of counseling has helped to change the lives of those she touches. Stacy's unique sense of humor, her artistic flair, and her love of Jesus all combine to creatively teach Equine Therapy so her clients happily comprehend.
Stacy's love for family and family values has transcended three generations. Instilling confidence and success all the way down to her grandchildren. Providence Heart Ranch is another place for her to shine.
Office Manager CFO
Tricia and her family have been part of the Providence family for years. She overcame her own addiction at Providence Recovery and stepped into a leadership role immediately. She is the sweetest, kindest person I have ever met. She is logical, motivated and organized. If it wasn't for her, we couldn't do what we do, seriously!
She runs the office for both Providence Recovery and Providence Heart Ranch with ease and confidence. We are so blessed to be able to love on her and her 3 kids and her fiance Gill.
Jon & Stacy
Hi, I am Brittney.
I am a native of southern California and absolutely love where I live. I enjoy spending my time outside and staying busy, as I am a proud mama of 6 littles! With that being said my motivation today is my family and fulfilling God's purpose for me. It’s important to me that I am an intellectual leader and they don’t only see me as a loving, caring mother but, as a godly woman with strong morals and ethics.
I am currently pursuing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have previously obtained degrees in Behavioral and Social Sciences. I have a very diverse and extensive background both professionally and personally. I have been chosen to help individuals and families who face the challenges of addiction and other co-occurring diagnoses.
My faith led me to Providence, where I feel that this has been my calling. Providence has allowed me to continue to minister to those who suffer. To help generations break terrible cycles that have been in their family origin for decades and teach healthy spiritual ways to cope with life's everyday challenges.
I am excited to serve and look forward to engaging with our community.
Substance Abuse Counselor
Hello, my name is Nicole Shaver. I am a Substance Abuse Counselor with a Masters in Science in Addiction Counseling. I battled my own addiction issues and could relate on about every level you could imagine when it comes to addiction, mental health, and the life that comes with it. I turned my life around and began my own personal journey with God. Through that journey, I found the path I am supposed to be on which is helping addicts by implanting the seed of hope. My passion is to utilize raw experience along with education to guide and help those along the way.
